Lenny Kravitz
It’s a crisp bright morning in Paris and Lenny Kravitz is calmly surveying the bustling metropolis outside the hotel window. “Wow, it’s gorgeous,” he smiles, alluding both to the continental weather and the enviable beauty of the French capital below. For someone who grew up in the sun-drenched state of California, a good climate, he admits, always buoys him up. “Yeah, things look better when it’s sunny,” he laughs.

Patrycja Markowska

She started her musical career in 2001, releasing her debut album “Będę silna”. The record was nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the “Debut of the Year” category. On June 15, 2007, at the 44th Polish Song Festival in Opole with her “Świat się pomylił”, Patrycja Markowska took the first prize in the “Premieres” competition and the journalists award.

The band was founded in 1991 in Warsaw by Robert Gawliński. A year later the following musicians worked on the album “Wilki” at the Stodoła Club: Robert Gawliński – vocal, Mikis Cupas – electric guitar, Michał Rollinger – keyboards, Adam Żwirski – bass guitar, Darek Nowak – percussion.

Vavamuffin
The band was created in 2003 in Warsaw and is associated with Karrot Kommando studio. It was Karrot Komand that released the band’s debut LP Vabang! in April 2005. In the summer of 2005, Vavamuffin took part in the Sopot TOPtrendy Festival. In July 2006, the band performed at the Przystanek Woodstock Festival in Kostrzyn nad Odrą. On October 20 of the same year, Dubang! the band’s second record with remixes of the tunes from Vabang! was released, while the concert on October 23, 2007 at the Palladium Club was a premiere of the third album (the second studio-recorded one) – Inadibus.

The Poise Rite

The Poise Rite – a band formed in Rzeszów whose music is described as a medley of guitar rock and indie-pop. It is one of the few Polish bands to have performed at the cult Glastonbury festival (2007) and the only one that regularly features in British music press.
