Dances and games in the Medieval times – a ballet-pantomime show performed by Dworski Balet Cracovia Danza. The show will take the audience on a journey through the Middle Ages, to various courts of Europe, where the poetry of troubadours blossoms, as does the elegance of ladies, the courtly love of knights. Through particular scenes – pictures placed in May gardens, we learn about the old games, customs and courtly dances. Fascinating histories and figures from the Medieval times introduce us to the unique and fairytale world, where cultures of the west and the orient intertwine.

An event, which will take us to the world of Slavic mythology for almost an hour. We will learn about elements of pagan faiths of Slavs and ethnographic customs, which are cultivated in Lesser Poland till this day. Olden Slavs and their gods will appear on stage. Each episode of the show will be dedicated to another figure from the pantheon of past deities, and smaller creations exhibiting an attribute of each of them will accompany, e.g. Svetovid in a symbolic way will appear with his four faces, Weles will come out from the underground as a symbol of warriors’ strengths, Perun will appear among thunderbolts of lightning, and the Black and White god will fight for domination of the world etc.
