We invite you to St. John’s Fair on Friday!

Garland weaving workshops, a fair organized by local artists as well as learning about various legends, designed with the youngest spectators in mind, are just some of the attractions which await all who visit the St. John’s Fair starting Friday. Come to Bulwary Wiślane!




19 June (Friday)
3:00 – 6:00 pm - garland weaving workshops
3:00 – 10:00 pm – fair co-organized by local artists. We will be selling items including ecological toys, garlands, handicraft goods such as tablecloths, shawls, bedspreads (throws)


20 June (Saturday)
12:00 pm – opening of the fair and the contest for the best garland
12:00 – 4:00 pm - garland weaving workshops conducted by a professional florist studio
4:00 pm – 4:30 pm “Czytamy legendy” reading about legends for the youngest fair attendees
4:30 pm – the winner of the most beautiful garland contest will be announced
5:00 pm – 5:30 pm “Czytamy legendy” reading about legends for the youngest fair attendees
12:00 – 10:00 pm – fair co-organized by local artists. We will be selling items including ecological toys, garlands, handicraft goods such as tablecloths, shawls, bedspreads (throws)
6:00 pm – 12:00 am - broadcast of the WIANKI 2009 concert on four plasma screens (in a marked zone)
There will be toys and games based on the tradition of St. John’s Night for children throughout the day

21 June (Sunday)
12:00 pm – opening of the fair
12:15 – 12:45 pm “Czytamy legendy” reading about legends for the youngest fair attendees
5:00 – 5:30 pm “Czytamy legendy” reading about legends for the youngest fair attendees
3:00 – 10:00 pm – fair co-organized by local artists. We will be selling items including ecological toys, garlands, handicraft goods such as tablecloths, shawls, bedspreads (throws)
There will be toys and games based on the tradition of St. John’s Night for children throughout the day

Apart from the above listed program, educational campaigns regarding child safety near the street will be conducted at the fair. The workshop is organized by PZU.
