 She started her musical career in 2001, releasing her debut album “Będę silna”. The record was nominated for the Fryderyk Award in the “Debut of the Year” category. On June 15, 2007, at the 44th Polish Song Festival in Opole with her “Świat się pomylił”, Patrycja Markowska took the first prize in the “Premieres” competition and the journalists award. On April 25, 2008, during the Eska Music Awards 2008 gala, she was presented with a statuette in the “Artist of the Year” category. Polish audiences also know her from the second edition (2005) of the Dancing with the Stars show. Her partner was Michał Skawiński and they took 8th place. On August 9, 2008, she performed at the Sopot Hit Festiwal 2008 as a special guest. This concert was also an occasion to present the artist with the Gold Record for her album “Świat się pomylił”.
