Another edition of the Celebration of Music in Krakow will take place on the 25th of June. Four stages, dozens of artists and all accompanying events put together give us over 24 hours of live music. The 2016 edition of Wianki will be exceptional. The City of Krakow, the Department of Culture and National Heritage of the Krakow Municipal Office and the Krakow Festival Office invite you to take part in the celebration!read more

Already for the second time, Wianki – Festival of Music turned Krakow into a city teeming with music, pulsating with energy and full of joy. That’s how Krakow inhabitants and tourists celebrated the arrival of summer. However, they were not alone – they were accompanied by other inhabitants of 450 cities on five continents. One of the reasons for which the Festival of Music is an exceptional event is the fact that there is no single epicentre and music spreads out across the entire town, including people of every age and with various musical tastes. Such was the case this year, too. 6 stages, 56 concerts, accompanying events and attractions in which over 150,000 spectators took part. And it must be stressed that the weather was not favourable this year; fortunately, such a huge and condensed portion of music managed to chase the rain away in Krakow.read more

A spectacular fireworks display crowning the Krakow Wianki Festival at the bend of Vistula is already a part of tradition. This year, almost one ton of pyrotechnical materials exploded into the air, lighting the sky over Krakow. The spectacular display culminating the main program of Wianki – Festival of Music was loudly applauded by those who gathered by the Vistula river.

6 stages, 56 concerts, accompanying events and attractions. Altogether, 150,000 spectators turned Krakow into a true city of music! The whole day filled with concerts –such was this year’s Wianki event in Krakow. The music event referring to the tradition of St. John’s Night that has been one of the biggest Krakow events for years took place on the 20th of June already for the second time in the form of a city Festival of Music!
